The Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) is a provider of research and development infrastructure primarily relating to micro and nano device fabrication, and advanced materials synthesis. It's capabilities generally support Australian Nanotechnology providing capabilities such as micro CNC milling, laser machining, lithography, semiconductor processing, 3D printing, optical fibre fabrication, printed electronics.

VR-Design Studio software is used to develop 3D virtual reality models of transport solutions, urban plans and civil works. Used standalone or linked with CAD/GIS data, 3D environments can be quickly modeled and simulations run in real-time.

The School of Aviation delivers the Bachelor of Aviation (Management and Flying Streams) appropriate for school leavers wanting preparation for employment in the Aviation industry.

Postgraduate coursework programs are also offered by distance mode and on a part-time basis for industry professionals wanting to extend and update their knowledge of the industry.

The School also supervises research students enrolled in a Master of Science by research or a PhD, in areas of expertise held by academic staff, including aviation safety management and airborne research.
